On September 10, 2024, the Hydrogen Energy Forum was held with great anticipation from academia and industry. The keynote speaker, Professor Mei-Yin Chang from National Sun Yat-sen University’s Department of Photonics, delivered an insightful lecture on “The Impact of Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Green Energy Industries on ESG and SDGs.”<\/p>\n
Professor Chang explored the critical role of hydrogen energy in Taiwan\u2019s future energy landscape and analyzed renewable energy\u2019s contributions to environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) and the United Nations\u2019 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n
Drawing on her field research in the United States, Professor Chang highlighted how innovations in hydrogen energy promote social well-being and cultural sustainability. She emphasized that advancing hydrogen energy can significantly reduce carbon emissions, foster green economic growth, and benefit both businesses and individuals.<\/p>\n
The lecture inspired active discussions among participants, who explored ways to incorporate hydrogen and green energy concepts into their businesses and daily lives.
