A Cultural Journey at the Chiayi National Palace Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n Visiting the Chiayi National Palace Museum was a journey filled with culture and history. The event featured Professor Li Wei-Guo, who began with the museum’s iconic treasure, the Jadeite Cabbage, exploring its historical and cultural significance. As a masterpiece of Qing Dynasty craftsmanship, the Jadeite Cabbage reflects not only the artisans\u2019 skill but also symbolic meanings in imperial life.<\/p>\n Professor Li also introduced the “Four Elegant Pastimes” cherished by Song Dynasty scholars: painting, tea brewing, incense burning, and flower planting, shedding light on their cultural importance.<\/p>\n After the museum tour, participants gathered at the lobby of the Evergreen Hotel, where the Lanyun Guzheng Ensemble, under the guidance of Professor Huang Mei-Ching, performed enchanting melodies.
