2018.03.09-10: IFBPW LEADER\u2019S SUMMIT was held in New York in 2018 and this year President Hui-Ru Pan, President Shou-Zhen Guo and Ms. Fang-Fang Zhao represented Taiwan to participate this summit with other presidents from all over the world. At the summit, Taiwan received the honor of \u201cTWINNING QUEEN\u201d for the successful managing effort of sister clubs.<\/h6>\n
2018.03.12-23: This year, President Hui-Ru Pan and Ms. Liang-Ying Lee represented BPW Taiwan to attend The 62nd UNCSW. According to worldwide reports, they are deeply proud of the success of the development of the status of women in Taiwan. We appreciate for the help and hospitality from Ambassador Li-Wen Hsu, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York, and other officials from MOFA.<\/h6>\n
2018.04.06: Carol Pan President of BPW TAIWAN and 47 members of theBPW Taiwan delegation visited the Philippines to participate in the exchange. They were also accompanied by YU,MEI-NU legislator, Judge HUANG, JUI-MING and Taiwan\u2019s ambassador to the Philippines Lin Songhuan, and then to the city of Dipolog in the province of Zamboanga del Norte. The former mayor Mrs. Evelen Uy and many officials met at the airport and received a warm welcome ceremony.<\/h6>\n
* The mayor Dexter Uy of Dipolog held a gala dinner. During the dinner, President Carol Pan took a speech and introduce 47 members. New Kaohsiung club of BPW Taiwan and sisters’ twinning with Dipolog BPW.<\/h6>\n
2018.04.07: Robert Uy, governor of North Zamboanga, welcome BPW Taiwan and hopes to have the opportunity to exchange and cooperate in the future. He held hosting dinners and visiting the provincial government offices , also arranges to a beautiful blue island and enjoys special fresh seafood. The governors personally served at each table, laughing continuously during the visit and establishing a good friendship between the two countries .<\/h6>\n
2018.04.09: Regarding the status of women\u2019s rights and economic and political development in the Philippines and Taiwan, Taiwan was issued by two representatives of Jane Helin\u2019s International Affairs Committee and President Zhong Fengzhao, and the Philippines was published by BPW Philippines Chairman Mrs. Myrna Yao. The two countries also discussed women\u2019s issues and looked forward to the promotion. The development of women\u2019s strength in both countries. Everyone sang the National Anthem of the Republic of China. All the members were deeply moved.<\/h6>\n
2018.04.14: The New Taipei club is established , congratulate the YU,MEI-NU legislator and the founding president.<\/h6>\n
2018.04.19: BPW TAIWAN and the Taoyuan Municipal Government have cooperated to hold the largest industrial art fair in the country. The day’s nearly 2,000 contestants of beauty art contests attended the event and nearly 10,000 guests arrived. The day was lively and successful.<\/h6>\n
2018.04.22: Mrs. Anne Hilty, funding president of BPW Hong Kong visited to Taiwan, and was welcomed by the Tianyuan club. She also visited Presidnet Carol Pan of BPW TAIWAN.<\/h6>\n
