BPW World Congress: Taiwan Women Shine on the Global Stage

Founding President Annette Lu and President Shou Chen Kuo led their team to St. Kitts and Nevis for the triennial BPW World Congress. The event brought together female leaders and business representatives worldwide to discuss global issues and women’s development. After a competitive election, Diana Barragan was elected as the new World President, symbolizing BPW’s dedication to gender equality and social responsibility.

Dr. Herlin Chien from Taiwan was successfully elected as the Asia-Pacific Regional Coordinator, responsible for regional development and collaboration during her three-year term. Her election represents a significant breakthrough for Taiwanese women on the international stage and builds a bridge for collaboration between Taiwan and women worldwide.

St. Kitts and Nevis, Taiwan’s diplomatic ally, is a beautiful Caribbean island with a strategic location. The trip was supported by Taiwan’s Ambassador Lin Chao-Hong and his team, who organized a rich itinerary. This participation not only bolstered Taiwan’s global influence but also fostered collaboration and growth among international women’s organizations.
